Emma is a trained teacher with ten years experience teaching children of all ages. She started The School Teacher primarily to help fulfil a need to buy teaching resources in her area. After the birth of her son she also saw the need for quality educational toys at reasonable prices.

Emma knows first hand the importance of play and discovery. Play provides children with vital skills that are needed throughout their lives.

Emma researches and sources her products from around the world. She visits trade and toy fairs, researches award winning toys and has observed her target market, the hundreds of children she has taught and found what they like to play with and read.
